Swiss Beets

Beets have a bold way of making your body feel energized. They are so good for people that are anemic.  When juiced with the right combination of foods, beets will  leave your skin glowing and your  blood flowing.

Your body feels so amazing because beets are high in vitamin A as well as great for cleansing the liver. When your liver is working at its optimal level your eyes sparkle, your heart pumps easier, and you just feel great. They combine well with carrots, which are also rich in vitamin A, and vitamins B and C. Carrots bring calcium to the team and they have a cleansing effect on the liver too.  I love adding apples to this combination because they bring two important phytochemicals: pectin and boron.  Boron works with vitamin D. This would be an excellent juice to have alongside a piece of wild caught salmon, because it’s rich in vitamin D.  Your body would be provided with  a range of harmonizing nutrients.  Don’t forget to add a lime or lemon to help the absorption of minerals and ginger for a kick of spice. Swiss Beets!
