Okay, so what do you do when you have an artificial sugar craving? Pucker up to this sweet and tangy smoothie to kiss that urge good-bye! It is a little higher in natural sugar than most of my smoothies. A great post workout rejuvenator!
1/2 cup of frozen or fresh grapes-Rinse and place grapes on a cookie sheet to freeze. Spacing them out makes it easier to take off the sheet.
1 cup of filtered water
1 tsp of fresh juice from a lemon
Blend ingredients until smooth and enjoy the fruits of your labor;-) Makes about 1-2 servings.

Okay…you got me! I needed more iron in my diet and I am not a lover of green besides mint ice-cream:) I’m going to give a couple of these a shot that have spinach. I’ll have my 4 year old try them too. We all need more veggies at my house. I’ll post after my first try this weekend…I need to get to the grocery store. Thanks for sharing this info!
YEAH!!!!! Thank you so much for checking my blog out;-) Trust me, you won’t be able to tell that spinach is an ingredient. I am eager to hear about your son’s reaction;-) Please let me know what you think after this weekend. Remember…HEALTH is WEALTH!!!
Okay what type of supplement can I use for energy, also I don’t have a juicer so what do you recommend?
Hey Deidra;-) Thanks for checking my blog out! I would suggest that you get some B-Complex vitamins. Also, the green smoothies will give you an extra kick! Spinach is loaded with energizing minerals and vitamins. I have the Breville juicer, which I got from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I do not recommend the Jack Lalanne juicer…to hard to clean and you loose too much pulp. I hope this helps;-) Health is Wealth!!!
