Day Eleven-Papaya Punch!

Okay ladies(and gentlemen)…get glowing from within with this beta-carotene and Vitamin C rich smoothie.

4-5 leaves of organic curly kale or lacinto(which is the darker kale also known as dinosaur kale)

1 cup of frozen mangoes

1/2 cup of fresh papaya

1/2 cup of orange juice

1/2 cup of filtered water

1 tbsp of lime juice

Blend all ingredients until smooth and toast to good health. Makes about 1-2 servings.

Very good question..From what I have researched carrots are higher in beta-carotene;-)A half cup of carrots contains 19,000 International Units of Vitamin A and one half of a ripe papaya contains 1,047 IU Vitamin A, according to LiveStrong.com. If you find out differently,please let me know;-) Health is Wealth!!!
